Former Manchester United star Brian McClair is coming to Coleraine this weekend.
The Scotsman will be the special guest at Coleaine FC Academy's annual awards night on Friday (May 24, 8pm).
McClair will also take part in a special Q&A session in the Social Club and reflecting on his stellar career.
The 55-year-old started his career with Aston Villa and Motherwell before earning a big move to Celtic.
McClair joined Manchester United in 1987 and was part of Sir Alex Ferguson's team that won the Premier League title 1993 and clinched the club’s first double in 1994.
he won another double in 1996 and title in 1997 before going on to spend nine years as a Director of the Youth Academy at Old Trafford, prior to being appointed by the Scottish Football Association in February 2015 as their national performance director.
McClair will present the awards to the Academy starlets from 6-8pm with the Q&A starting after.
Entry for the Q&A event will be £5 with all proceeds going towards the Bannsiders’ participation in this summer’s SuperCup NI tournament.
