Ex-Manchester United pair Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic involved in furious bust-up

Former Manchester United duo Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been involved in a heated exchange.

Lukaku was lining up for Inter Milan while Ibrahimovic was up front for local rivals AC Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter-final.

The pair butted heads at the end of the first half, before Lukaku can be seen uttering an expletive insult.

Lukaku was furious and swore in the Swede's direction after footage had shown the pair clashing.

Ibrahimovic also appeared to also be involved in an x-rated rant following the clash of heads.

The argument continued after the referee showed both players the yellow card and blew the whistle for half-time, with Inter staff forced to hold Lukaku back as the teams made for the tunnel.

Ibrahimovic had given AC Milan the lead in the first half, before Lukaku scored an equaliser from the penalty spot a little over 10 minutes after Ibrahimovic was sent off for a second yellow card.

The game ended 2-1 in favour of Inter after former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen scored late on in stoppage time to win it for the Nerazzuri at the San Siro.
