A former Malaysian King and his beauty Queen wife have reportedly divorced just six months after he abdicated 'for marriage'.
Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan and Oksana Voevodina had a lavish wedding last year.
But their divorce was registered on July 1, with the date of the divorce listed as June 22 in Singapore, according to reports.
It was reportedly carried out by the utterance of the word 'talak' (divorce) three times, the procedure followed in Islam.
A copy of the certificate has reportedly been seen on social media, the Strait Times reports.
The reported divorce comes around two months after the birth of the couple's son.
Sultan Muhammad became Malaysia's first monarch to abdicate on January 6.
He had become King in December 2016 and was due to serve for five years.
Royalists believe his marriage was a factor in why he abdicated the throne, although he has not stated his reasons.
Ms Voevodina became the first lady of Malaysia after reportedly converting to Islam earlier in the year, before they wed.
Kelantan’s deputy chief minister denied knowledge of the 'split' and said he could not comment without official information.
Russian-born Ms Voevodina, using the name Rihana Oksana Petra, has an official Instagram account and has 377,000 followers.
On the 26-year-old's page, she has shared photos of her with Sultan Muhammad, 49.
Posting a photo of her baby's feet last month, she wrote: "21 May 2019 - the Day, when my life was divided into "before" and "after".
"Everything that I was told about the changes occurring with a woman after the birth of a baby is true. This love is special.
"These feelings are completely new. I am greatful to Allah and my husband for our son. Now there are three of us.
"Thank you for choosing our family, Tengku Ismail Leon Petra Bin Tengku Muhammad V Faris Petra."
