Ex-Lions OL coach Ron Prince in hot water as Howard University coach

Former Detroit Lions offensive line coach Ron Prince is now the head coach at Howard University, but perhaps not for long. There are some disturbing allegations about Prince coming forward and they threaten his tenure at the HBCU.

Prince coached with the Lions from 2014-2017 under head coach Jim Caldwell. He was the assistant head coach and also served as the tight ends and offensive line coach during that time. He was fired immediately after the 2017 season ended.

Some of the allegations here from HBCU Gameday are troubling and difficult to fathom for his first season with Howard. Several parents of players are accusing Prince of harassing, threatening and refusing medical treatment to players, among other issues. The Bison are 0-3.
