Ex-Leeds United keeper David Seaman previews Harry's Heroes return and hilarious nudist encounter

Former Leeds United youth goalkeeper David Seaman will be returning for the second series of Harry’s Heroes.

The ITV reality TV programme proved to be a hit last year as it followed football icons who’d put on a few pounds - after their playing days had finished.

Manager Harry Redknapp was in charge of the side which featured Paul Merson, Matt Le Tissier, John Barnes and others.

One of those who appeared was David Seaman, who started his career with Leeds United before making his name with Arsenal, and he’ll be back for series two.

The 56-year-old, known as a , revealed to The Athletic he enjoys being part of the programme although there’s a bit he drew the line at.

“For this series, one of the matches was a against a French nudist too,” he said.

“Although, it just was too distracting.”

The former England No.1 sat on the sidelines, fully clothed, and watched the match rather than getting involved in the action.

The second series of Harry’s Heroes will screen in the summer to coincide with Euro 2020. Last series, former Leeds United players Robbier Fowler and Lee Sharpe joined Seaman on the show.
