Former Leeds United star and Sky Sports legend Chris Kamara spotted in crowd at Leeds Arena gig

Fans packed out Leeds First Direct Arena last night for the much-anticipated return of The Script to the city on their latest UK tour.

The band last played the venue in February 2018 - two years on and the Irish trio's latest performance didn't disappoint. Elsewhere in the audience though, was another 'performer' familiar with playing in front of a Leeds crowd. Spotted in the first tier at the arena was former Leeds United midfielder-turned TV presenter and personality Chris 'Kammy' Kamara.

To the delight of fans last night, he too couldn't pass on the opportunity to see The Script perform live following the release of their Sunset and Full Moons album. Kammy, who helped Leeds to Second Division title success in the 1989/90 season, was happy to take the odd selfie on his way into and out of the arena too!

The Sky Sports pundit and Ninja Warrior presenter has himself dabbled in the music industry recently. Kammy released a Christmas album late last year to show off another of his many talents. The question now is whether we'll see Kammy at Elland Road later this afternoon for the tie with Reading in the Championship. Kamara did tip the Whites to promotion this time around - though that was when he spoke to LeedsLive before the club's recent dip in form. Keep the faith Kammy!
