MANILA, Philippines – Junnosuke Taguchi, a former member of the Japanese boy band KAT-TUN, has been arrested for marijuana possession.
According to the Tokyo Reporter, Taguchi was arrested on May 22 by the Kanto Narcotics Control Department.
They seized several grams of marijuana and smoking paraphernalia at the Tokyo apartment Taguchi shared with his girlfriend, former actress Rena Komine. She was also arrested.
Taguchi joined KAT-TUN in 2006, leaving the group in 2016 to pursue a solo career.
Another former member of the band, Koki Tanaka, was also arrested for marijuana possession by Tokyo police in 2017, but he was not prosecuted. – Rappler.com
