Ex-Jets QB Mark Sanchez has lofty expectations for Gang Green in 2019

Former Jets QB Mark Sanchez predicted double-digit wins for the Jets in 2019.

Sanchez, during a segment going through the Jets schedule on NFL Total Access on NFL Network, has New York going 13-3 this upcoming season, a sharp increase from its 4-12 season just a year before.

The Jets have improved and, barring any injuries, will display a much better product on the field under first-year head coach Adam Gase. The Jets also added Le’Veon Bell, C.J. Mosley, Jamison Crowder, Kelechi Osemele and Quinnen Williams this offseason to bolster their talent-deficient roster.

Still, Sanchez’s prediction seems absurd.

Sanchez has New York winning on the road against Philadelphia, Jacksonville and Baltimore while knocking off Dallas, New England and Pittsburgh at home. He added that Gase will not lose to his former team in the Miami Dolphins and Le’Veon Bell would win his “grudge match” against the Steelers.

The three predicted losses come against New England, Oakland and Buffalo. In Week 17 on the road against the Bills, Sanchez believes the Jets will have already clinched and will be in a place to rest their starters.

That just seems too good to be true.
