Ex-husband denies murder of mum-of-four Jade Marsh

The ex-husband of popular mum-of-four Jade Marsh, who was found dead at her home, has denied murdering her.

Russell Norman James Marsh, of Chevrons Road in Shotton, appeared via video link from HMP Berwyn today, November 19.

The 29-year-old denied two charges put before him at a hearing in Mold Crown Court, and will stand trial accused of murder, reports North Wales Live.

He also pleaded not guilty plea to a second charge of the manslaughter of the 27-year-old Co-op worker, also known as Jade Ward. See the latest cases from courts around Wales here.

Marsh spoke only to confirm his not guilty pleas at the brief hearing on Friday morning.

Judge Rhys Rowlands confirmed that the trial - which is now expected to last up to two weeks - would go ahead next year in Mold on March 21, 2022.

Marsh will remain in custody until then.
