Ex-Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr was banned from the social media network TikTok for his part in a prank video with dad and fellow Gogglebox legend Tom Sr.
The reality star staged a prank clip where he and his dad are driving together, only for an elderly cyclist to hit the bonnet of their vehicle, the Mirror reports. Hit with a backlash, Tom told his followers he had been temporarily banned from TikTok for the stunt.
In a piece to camera, he said: "Just so you know, that video got me banned off TikTok for a day so you better enjoy it. It was worth it."
On Twitter, meanwhile, he assured fans that "no grans were harmed in the making of this video".
His TikTok account has now been restored, but the video appears to have been removed.
Last month, Tom Jr dropped a big hint that he could feature in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
"Ideally I'd love to be involved in both dance and TV [in] some capacity in the future," he told the Express, "whether that was presenting dance shows or judging on dance shows or something.
"I'd definitely be interested in doing something in TV still, but that is still kind of attached to dance. Those two things I enjoy a lot - I've danced since I was six."
Asked directly if he would appear on Strictly Come Dancing, he said: "I would love to! If the opportunity came up to go on Strictly as a contestant... I’ve never done ballroom in my life, so it’d be interesting to see how as someone who breaks - I’m used to dancing upside down - how those two worlds could come together.
"And, how I could use skills from breaking in ballroom or if there is even anything you can use from breaking in ballroom."
Tom Jr left Gogglebox in February to "explore" new opportunities. His family still appear on the show and recently introduced us to his sister, Vanessa.
