Bobby Burns was on the losing side in his first Edinburgh derby but it seems he loved every minute of it.
The former Glenavon teen was named in the Hearts starting XI to face Hibs as Paul Heckingbottom's side continued their impressive run of form.
Peter Haring opened the scoring for the Jambos before Republic of Ireland's Daryl Horgan netted a brace to seal all three points.
For Burns, his first taste of the rivalry is another big step as he continues to make a name for himself.
And it seemed he thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Tynecastle as he expressed his delight on Twitter.
He said: "Unbelievable atmosphere today but gutted about the result! Move onto a massive game next week."
Hearts signed the 19-year-old from the Northern Irish club last summer and went out on loan to Premiership side Livingston .
Back in November he was called up to the Northern Ireland senior squad for the double header against Ireland and Austria.
But the defender was recalled to the Edinburgh side in January and has started to force his way into Craig Levein's plans as the season comes to a close.
