The Webb/Wolfenden household are certainly getting in to the spirit as Charley posted a picture of six-year-old Bowie to her Instagram stories, the youngster was donning an all-red look, complete with dyed hair, head to toe in Union Jacks.

Bowie also had sequins on his face as he posed for the camera sticking his tongue out and doing a peace sign, the actress who is a huge advocate for her children expressing their creativity was clearly impressed with her son's look as she captioned the post "such a vibe".

Charley is never one to shy away from sharing the trials and tribulations of parenthood and has earned an army of fans who love her brutally honest, and often hilarious, accounts of family life as she juggles being a mum to three boys.

Earlier this month the former Debbie Dingle star was forced to issue an apology to baffled fans who thought Matthew's birthday celebrations were in fact a gender reveal after she posted a clip of the family letting off a confetti cannon in the garden.

The family-of-five celebrating in the garden, dressed in their pyjamas, Charley captioned the post "Happy Birthday Matthew" as she tagged her other half, who is best known for his role as David Metcalfe in Emmerdale.

However, the clip caused quite a commotion after fans presumed the celebration was a gender reveal as the confetti cannon, which is often used to reveal a baby's gender by expecting couples, let out pink glitter.

Charley was later forced to apologise to her 562k followers after being inundated with messages, confirming that she was not pregnant and despite the confusion, it was not a gender reveal.

Posting a snap of herself wearing shorts in her Instagram stories, the actor said: "Two things, number one that is not a gender reveal, I've had 58, 013 messages. Sorry about that. Number two - when does the heatwave start?"
