A former Eastenders star is to face trial after being charged with racially aggravated harassment and assault.
Katie Jarvis, who played Hayley Slater in the BBC soap in 2018 to 2019, faces the charges in connection with an alleged incident in Essex in July last year.
The 29-year-old appeared at Basildon Crown Court earlier today to confirm her personal details, reports Hull Live.
She also denied all four charges of racially aggravated harassment, common assault and two counts of assault by beating.
Details of the case were not opened at the plea hearing heard earlier today.
Jarvis was bailed until her trial date of April 19 next year.
In 2019, it emerged that the ex-Eastenders star has quit her role on the show to take up a job as a security guard at a B&M store.
Prior to her career change, Jarvis was awarded a Most Promising Newcomer award for her role at Mia Williams in the 2009 film Fish Tank.
