Ex-Dunfermline skipper Paul Paton completes fifth tier switch in sensational East Kilbride move

East Kilbride have completed a signing coup to Paul Paton to the Lowland League side.

Last week the Northern Ireland cap revealed to Lanarkshire Live Sport, he was on the look out for a part-time club after leaving Dunfermline at the end of last term.

The 33-year-old, who has also turned out for Dundee United, Partick Thistle and St Johnstone has now put pen to paper on deal at the K-Park under gaffer Stevie Aitken.

Boss Aitken has previously revealed he hopes to snap up former Rangers man Kyle Hutton and Livingston star Chris Erskine for next season.
