Beau Lamarre-Condon, the former cop who allegedly killed Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, has denied murdering the Sydney couple.
On Tuesday morning, Lamarre-Condon pleaded not guilty at the John Maddison Tower Local Court in Paddington to two counts of domestic violence murder and one count of aggravated break and enter.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Lamarre-Condon’s Legal Aid lawyer Ben Archbold told Deputy Chief Magistrate Theo Tsavdaridis that his client would be defending the alleged murders.
The 30-year-old formally entered his not guilty plea from Silverwater Prison, where he has spent the last 18 months in custody.

Lamarre-Condon is accused of shooting Baird and Davies with his police-issued weapon at Baird’s Paddington home in February 2024.
Police allege that he then stuffed their bodies into surfboard bags before dumping them at a rural property and submerging them in a dam about 180 kilometres south-west of Sydney.

Authorities searched for Lamarre-Condon amidst Baird and Davies’ disappearance until he handed himself in to police on February 23. He reportedly revealed the location of Baird and Davies’ bodies the day after his arrest.
The matter is set to be heard in the Supreme Court on October 3 for Lamarre-Condon’s arraignment.
