Ex-cocaine kingpin running designer pup dealing business from swanky Dubai home

Former cocaine kingpin Stephen Jamieson is running his lucrative designer pup business from a swanky new home in Dubai.

The crook, known as Jimmy, is doing high-value deals, selling American Bully dogs and other breeds via Facebook using his old Glasgow associates.

Jamieson, 36, is also connected to all the top traders of the controversial breeds.

He spends much of his time in Dubai scouring the internet for breeding opportunities as the right pups can command fees of more than £10,000.

One source said: ”Jamieson has made a fortune from dogs and he has a proper interest in breeding bullies.

His stud dogs have been his pride and joy and he’s always looking for that special pup that will go on to be a champion stud animal, which is the holy grail for all these types.”

The breeding and selling of American bullies has been condemned by animal charities as cruel, as the dogs often have their ears chopped off and narrow breeding lines can lead to congenital birth defects, breathing problems and short lifespans.

Jamieson was jailed in 2009 alongside brothers Steven and Gary Caddis for selling a huge volume of cocaine in Glasgow.

He was freed in 2013 after serving half of his eight-year term.
