Ex-Chelsea defender names the two players capable of replacing Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge

Eden Hazard could be set to play his final few games for Chelsea in the coming weeks amid talk of a big-money move to Real Madrid.

Los Blancos have continuously been linked with the Belgian international over the past 18 months and they have been tipped to finally sign him with a summer overhaul at the Santiago Bernabeu set to take place.

The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season and the Blues have a decision to make over their star player with their upcoming transfer ban looming.

Chelsea have already signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for next season but replacing Hazard will prove extremely hard if he does bring the curtain down on his seven-year stay in west London.

What has been said about Michy Batshuayi and his Chelsea future as transfer window looms

Speaking to Goal , former defender Wayne Bridge believes only two players are capable of replacing the Belgian magician at Stamford Bridge if Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid get their way.

"If Chelsea lose Hazard, I don't know how they could replace him," he said. "I couldn't think who they would sign because Hazard is one of the best players in the world.

"I would think only Messi or Ronaldo could replace him. I think if they do lose him, they can't replace him.

"That's why I worry that Chelsea could struggle even more than they are doing at the moment. He has been a huge part of the club's season with goals and assists.

"I would love to see Hazard stay to help the club compete and he has been so good for the league, but we don't know what will happen."
