Jose Mourinho is ready for a return to management - but on one condition.
The ex-Chelsea boss has been out of work since leaving his post at Manchester United before Christmas last year and his prediction of being back on the touchline this season hasn't yet come to fruition.
For the 'special one' to return, he's outlined exactly what he wants and fighting for Champions League spots doesn't fit his requirements.
"The only thing I know is what I don't want," Mourinho told the Coaches' Voice. "What I don't want is crystal clear.
"What I want - the general profile of it of course - but I cannot say clubs and country. I am quite pathological in this sense that I have to play to win.
"Then if I win or don't win it's my problem, the players, the club and the structure. But I need a project where the feeling is that I play to win.
"If someone gives me a wonderful, incredible, amazing 10-year contract and the objective of the team is to stay in the first part of the table, If you finish seventh or eighth or ninth is perfect that's not for me. That's my nature.
"Of course sometimes I remember what won before, but it's not me.
"My next [job] is to fight to win."
Whilst Mourinho waits for the call to become a manager again, he's proving to be quite the hit amongst supporters during his role as a pundit for Sky Sports.
"The Premier League is a special competition for me, one that takes so much hard work to win and you just can't take your eyes off the matches every week," Mourinho said following the announcement.
"Sky Sports is the home of the Premier League and it's a pleasure for me to join this team and help to understand and explain what happened in each match.
"Football is a huge passion, it means so much to the fans, and I look forward to being part of the Premier League with them until I return to my place on the touchline."
Following comments about Arsenal's attacking trio of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe following the north London derby last weekend some fans had a theory that Mourinho was auditioning to replace Unai Emery.
But with the Gunners not quite ready to challenge for the Premier League title, it would appear that Mourinho wouldn't be interested.
