A former Celtic youth star caught speeding was fined £210 today.
Broque Watson, 22, was snared in Glasgow's Great Western Road on November 5, 2020.
Officers clocked him doing 53 miles per hour in a 30 zone in a white Volkswagen Tiguan.
He pled guilty at Glasgow's Justice of the Peace court to speeding.
Prosecutor Kyle Dalziel said: "This road is busy at the best of times and the time was 3.18pm."
Justice of the Peace Catherine McSkimming replied: "I'm surprised he could manage it."
Mr Dalziel said: "The traffic conditions were moderate."
It was revealed that the winger, now playing with Stranraer, was given three points on his licence for a later speeding matter on New Year's Eve 2020.
Ms McSkimming added a further four points for the earlier offence as well as the fine.
