Ex-Celtic WAG Helen Flanagan to return to Glasgow after becoming homesick

Ex- Celtic WAG Helen Flanagan said she plans to return to Glasgow in two weeks time after becoming homesick.

Former Corrie star Helen lived in Scotland for four years while Scott Sinclair played with Celtic, and brought up her family in Glasgow.

She even admitted her first child Matilda had a Scottish accent - and her second baby Delilah was born in the city.

Helen, who left the city in 2020 after Scott signed a deal with Preston North End, has always had the "happiest memories" of her time here.

She told her followers on Instagram she's now planning to return for the first time since leaving - and even shared some throwback footage and pictures of her favourite times here.

She wrote: "Planning to go back to Glasgow in a few weeks and I'm so looking forward to it. I loved living in Glasgow so much and made such special friends."

Sharing a picture of her oldest daughter she wrote: "Matilda was one when we moved to Glasgow and four when she left."

Posting up a picture of Scott with her pregnancy test in hand alongside Matilda she added: "Such happy memories."

Helen also called her youngest Delilah, who was born at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, "my Scottish baby girl" and shared a video of her in a tartan dress.

She said she missed her make-up artist friend and her pals Jenny Farrell, Libby, Pam Docherty, Jen and Sarah adding: "Miss our west end late walks with the prams."

Helen has talked about returning to Coronation Street as Rosie Webster in the future but is currently concentrating on her family and new son Charlie who was born in March.
