Ex-Celtic star Mark Wilson sacked by League Two strugglers Brechin ahead of crucial Albion Rovers clash

Boss Mark Wilson has reportedly been sacked by League Two Brechin ahead of their clash with Albion Rovers this weekend.

The former Celtic star and Airdrieonians boss took over at Glebe Park in September 2019 with City finishing bottom of the curtailed League Two.

Reports have emerged this morning that Wilson's time at the club has come to an end.

If the exit of the former Diamonds gaffer is confirmed he will leave the Angus outfit at the foot of League Two once again having lost all of their league and Betfred Cup fixtures so far this season.

Brechin are set to travel to Cliftonhill this weekend to face Brian Reid's Rovers who are also searching for their first point this term.
