David Moyes has 'brought back' former Celtic scout Michael Doherty to Everton.
The Scot spent five years at Parkhead between 2017 and 2022 as a first-team international and UK scout, before joining Serie A outfit Atalanta as a UK senior scout in November 2023.
He worked with Moyes in the 2016/17 season at Sunderland, where he served as first-team Head of Recruitment.

Moyes has now brought Doherty to Everton, where he spent over two years as a 17-21 international and UK scout between 2009 and 2011, claims The Sun.
The Goodison Park side currently sit 15th in the English Premier League. They have safely avoided relegation and will play in the top-flight at their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock next season.
Moyes, who spent three years as a player at Celtic, returned to Everton earlier in the campaign following Sean Dyche's departure.
The 62-year-old has been widely linked with the Parkhead hotseat when it has been vacant on several occasions.
Brendan Rodgers is currently at the helm, though, and confirmed that he will undoubtedly be Celtic boss next season: "I will be here next year, 200 per cent," said Rodgers after securing his club's 55th league title against Dundee United on Saturday.
"No one knows me bar very, very few and there's even less that understand me.
"When I see all the reports of where I am going, people who know me and supposed to know where I am going, I'm unhappy...
"I've never been happier here I've had the most amazing season here. Can we now finish strong, regroup in the summer and be even better."
