Ex-Celtic players Kieran Tierney and Shane Duffy named amongst top twenty sexiest footballers in Premier League

Ex- Celtic stars Kieran Tierney and Shane Duffy have officially been named amongst the top twenty sexiest players in the Premier League.

The two lads were included in a breakdown of the most handsome footballers using the mathematical symmetry algorithm, the golden ratio, which influences people's perception of attractiveness.

With the 2021/22 Premier League season underway, there’s no doubt everyone will be talking about how talented and energised some of the footballers are.

However, following research from Footballbreak.co.uk Kieran and Shane made the grade in other ways.

Researchers collated official photos of Premier League footballers, issuing every player a final percentage score according to the facial landmarks.

Those closest to 100%, were deemed the most attractive.

A study of 582 players’ facial features led to each player being given a golden ratio score, which was then translated into a final score percentage based on how close their score was to the ‘perfect score’.

These percentage scores were then tallied and ranked to reveal the most attractive Premier League footballers overall, as well as the most attractive players per Premier League team.

Ex Celtic player Shane who plays for Brighton and Hove Albion came in at 87.82% - making him the tenth most attractive Premier League player based on golden ratio calculations.

And Scots born Arsenal player Kieran, who plays for Scotland's National Team, came 18th in the line up with a score of 86.06%.

Polish footballer Jakub Moder, 22, who plays as a midfielder for Brighton and Hove Albion was revealed to be the most attractive Premier League footballer overall, based on the golden ratio.

Jakub scored 90.82% for his facial features and spacing using the mathematical formula – the highest of all of the players studied.

Kiko Femeniua who is Spanish and plays for Watford came in second with a score of 90.40%.
