Ex-Celtic boss Postecoglou faces 'sacked in the morning' chants from own supporters

Ange Postecoglou faced savage 'sacked in the morning' chants from supporters of Nottingham Forest during the Europa League loss to FC Midtjylland.

The former Celtic boss had the chants aimed at himself by supporters of his own club after the Danish side went 3-1 up in the closing stages.

Postecoglou is yet to taste victory since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo at the Premier League club.

Defeat to Midtjylland made it four losses in six matches, with two draws in the other fixtures to date for the Greek-Australian boss.

Ousmane Diao netted after 18 minutes for Midtjylland before Dan Ndoye levelled for Forest at the City Ground.

Mads Bech Sorensen fired the visitors back ahead after 24 minutes to give them a lead at the break.

Nottingham Forest supporters would direct their fury at their own manager with 88 minutes on the clock as Valdemar Andreasen scored a third.

Chants of 'You're getting sacked in the morning' could be heard around the stadium, coming from the home supporters rather than jibes from the visiting fans.

Forest would pull one back through a Chris Wood penalty in stoppage time, but the English club could not level the scores.
