A former Scots youth footballer has appeared in court accused of causing the death of a teenager.
Ciaran Dickson, 20, allegedly struck Aidan Pilkington, 18, in Glasgow's Jordanhill in the early hours of September 11, 2021.
Pilkinton was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Dickson, of Erskine, Renfrewshire, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving and four other charges.
These include failing to stop to give information to police and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Dickson made no plea when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
