Ex-Catholic cardinal’s appeal over child sex abuse to be decided

A former Catholic cardinal will be back in court in Australia on Wednesday to find out whether his appeal against his jail sentence for child sexual abuse has been successful.

George Pell was sentenced to six years in March for abusing two choir boys when he was the archibishop of Melbourne in the 1990s.
