Ex-Browns WR Andrew Hawkins joining NFL Network

Andrew Hawkins quickly became one of the most popular Cleveland Browns players in his three years with the team. The diminutive former wideout has remained close to the city and the fan base by co-hosting “The ThomaHawk Show” podcast with Browns legend Joe Thomas.

Now the rest of the nation will get to taste the “Hawk.” NFL Network announced on Tuesday that Hawkins is joining the network as a host on a variety of digital media and social media platforms. He will also appear as an analyst on programs like “Good Morning Football.”

“Andrew has a unique ability to entertain and engage fans on a variety of platforms,” said Galen Gordon, NFL Network vice president of talent management, in a press release. “We are incredibly excited to have him join the NFL Media Group.”

Hawkins caught 123 passes for Cleveland from 2014-2016. He was known for his elusiveness and quickness from the slot.

Congrats to Hawkins, one of the good guys.
