Ex-Broncos scout Klein Kubiak gracious in farewell tweet

The Denver Broncos opted not to extend the contract of scout Klein Kubiak this week, making him a scouting free agent. Moving on from Gary Kubiak’s son was one of several changes the team made to the scouting staff on Wednesday.

After learning that his contract would not be renewed, Kubiak posted the following message on Twitter:

Five years ago, I was given the chance to work for the team I grew up idolizing. Five years later, I would not trade it for the world. Every day was an absolute blessing and I couldn’t be more proud to have been a part of it.

I want to thank the Bowlen Family, John Elway, Joe Ellis and the Denver Broncos for giving me a dream opportunity. The good Lord has paved a new path and I’m excited to see where He takes me.

That’s a classy response from Klein, who could potentially reunite with his dad and brother, Klint, with the Minnesota Vikings.
