Ex-Broncos CB Kayvon Webster signs with Saints

Kayvon Webster won’t be returning to Denver.

The former Broncos cornerback hinted on social media in March that he might be returning to the team but Denver never signed him. On Monday, Webster agreed to terms with the Saints (via Saints Wire).

Webster, 28, was selected by the Broncos in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft out of South Florida. He was buried on the team’s cornerback depth chart behind Aqib Talib, Chris Harris and Bradley Roby but made a name for himself on special teams.

Webster was a star “gunner” for Denver and quickly became a fan favorite. He spent the first four years of his career with the Broncos and helped the team win Super Bowl 50 in 2016. The team opted not to re-sign him when he became a free agent in 2017.

Webster spent 2017 with the Rams and part of 2018 with the Texans, battling through injuries in each season. He will now get a chance to provide depth in the secondary and contribute on special teams in New Orleans. Terms of his contract are unknown.
