Ex-Bears QB Jim McMahon to star in live Las Vegas show at Caesars Palace

Jim McMahon, often a showman, is taking his act to Las Vegas.

The Bears' bad boy emeritus will co-star in a live Vegas show called "Renegades" with fellow sports rebels Terrell Owens and Jose Canseco.

Starting Jan. 25, McMahon will hold court in the 180-seat Cleopatra's Barge inside Caesars Palace. "It will be a talk show sort of a thing," McMahon, who had a hard-partying reputation when he was quarterback, told Inc. during an interview to which brought two cans of Coors Light.

He was in Canton, Ohio, on Wednesday to attend a showing of the upcoming documentary "85: The Greatest Team in Football History" at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

"They'll bring one guy out at a time for like 20, 25 minutes. They'll tell stories, whatever, then the next guy comes out," McMahon said. "Then the final segment of the show, all three of us come out together, do a Q-and-A with the crowd."

The show will run Thursday through Sunday for three months and will also include other guests. Scott Prestin and Rich Lenkov, the makers of the "85" film, are producing the "Renegades" show. Audiences will hear "stories of their ups and their downs through different difficulties in their career," Prestin said.

McMahon added, "I'm looking forward to it. I've met T.O. a few times. Just looking forward to doing a show, getting a steady check, it'll be fun. I think they're gonna hear things they've never heard before."
