Reiss Greenidge admits he had an 'OK' time at Bolton Wanderers following his summer exit but conceded he did not play as much as he wanted to at the Whites.
Greenidge signed a two-year deal at Wanderers in the summer of 2020 as Ian Evatt overhauled the squad ahead of the League Two campaign they were about to go into. Greenidge started the opening day loss to Forest Green Rovers.
He made only seven appearances for the club last season, playing his last game for the Whites at the start of January 2021, when he was sent off in the home loss to Crawley Town. He spent last season out on loan at National League side Barnet.

Greenidge was one of several players released over the summer by the Whites. He has since joined National League outfit Maidstone United.
The defender, who came through the youth team ranks at Arsenal, has spoken on his time at Wanderers following his exit over the summer. He admits that he did not play as much as he would have liked, but that can happen in football.
Speaking to KentOnline, Greenidge said: "It was OK at Bolton. I was there in the Covid season and the second season I went on loan so I didn’t really get to experience the full atmosphere.
“It’s a nice club, a big club, I just didn’t get to play as much as I wanted to. I started the first game of the season in League Two and then found myself on the bench.
“You’ve always got to go into a situation optimistic and hoping you’re going to play but it doesn’t always work out like that. That’s just how it goes in football sometimes.”
