Ex-AAF players complain about getting stuck with huge hotel bills after league stops

The Alliance of American Football has become a you-know-what show ever since league officials suspended all football activities earlier this week.

We’ve seen one player drop everything and sign a deal with a team on Monday, only to have his dream end less than 24 hours later. We’ve seen players having to pay for their flights home. And we’ve seen a tone-deaf tweet from the league saying ex-AAF players are now free to tryout for the NFL.

But this latest claim from a former player may be even worse than all of that, because this is absolutely a classless move by the league if true:

That is beyond brutal and an just another ugly look for a league that should be ashamed of how they’ve handled things.

Be better, AAF owners.
