Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead were seen for the first time with their baby son Laurie as they enjoyed a sunny stroll in Los Angeles.
The couple secretly welcomed their first child together last month, and the 50-year-old actor was every inch the doting dad as he pushed the newborn in a pram, as he and the Birds of Prey star, 36, picked up nappies and baby essentials.
The Star Wars actor rocked a casual look for the shopping trip, wearing a pair of green shorts and a white T-shirt, and he was spotted carrying a huge box of Pampers nappies after a quick visit to a local supermarket.
Both he and new mum Mary wore face masks while out and about, adhering to the recent face covering guidelines issued in Los Angeles amid a surge of new Covid cases.
Mary, who looked chic in a black jumpsuit, was later spotted cuddling Laurie and shading his eyes from the sun, as Ewan rearranged the car seat in the stroller so their son would be in the shade.
Their baby news was kept secret until the Scottish actor’s eldest daughter Clara, 25, announced the news with a post on Instagram.
“Welcome to the world little brother... congratulations to my Dad & Mary - this is the greatest gift,” she wrote alongside a heartwarming snap of her cuddling baby Laurie.
Esther, 19, also marked the occasion by posting pictures to social media, and joked that she looked like a pirate in the cute snaps.
“Met my little brother looking like a pirate. I recommend! Welcome to the family little Laurie,” she quipped.
Ewan and Mary met on the set of Fargo and began dating in 2017, shortly after Ewan had split from his wife of 22 years, Eve Mavrakis.
Pictures emerged of the co-stars kissing in a restaurant, and actress Eve was later spotted without her wedding ring.
The exes, who share daughters Clara, Jamyan, 20, Esther, and Anouk, 10, and were locked in a bitter dispute over money during divorce proceedings, with Eve calling the split “disappointing and upsetting”.
Ewan cited “irreconcilable differences” for their split, but Clara took to Instagram to vent her frustration at seeing her father kissing at an Oscars party in 2018.
