Everything you need to know for Cream Classical in the Park - line-up, stage times, how to get there and more

Sefton Park hosts a brand new festival this Friday as more than 20 DJs take to the stage, alongside a 50-piece orchestra.

Cream Classical will take over the park for the 20,000 capacity festival, with music across two stages throughout the day on July 19.

The new festival will be Cream’s biggest show to date, following a series of sell-out shows at Liverpool Cathedral.

Ahead of the festival, there will be a whole host of information you’ll need - so we’ve put together a guide of everything you’ll need to know.

When is Cream Classical in the Park?

Cream Classical in the Park heads to Sefton Park on Friday, July 19.

Gates open at 2pm, and the event is set to finish at 10pm - though last entry into the festival site is 7pm.

How to get there

There is no parking available in the areas surrounding the park, with the exception of limited disabled parking bays, which can be accessed via Croxteth Gates, allocated on a first come first served basis.

Guests are encouraged to use public transport.

St. Michael’s Train Station is the nearest to the park, while Merseytravel will be running its usual timetable - which can be found here.

Arriva will also be operating a shuttle bus service after the event 9:45pm for £3.

Guests can board at Croxteth Drive (near the Hallmark Hotel) and the route will end at Great Charlotte Street in the city centre.

Banned items

There are several items banned from the festival site, including food and alcohol unless it is purchased there.

Animals (other than guide dogs), barbecues, fireworks, flares, umbrellas, camping chairs, and glass bottles are prohibited from the park.

No bags bigger than A4 can be brought into the event.

Will there be food and drink on site?

There will be a range of food and drink concessions available on the day, offering everything from beer and cider to soft drinks and smoothies.

Amongst the food concessions there will be crepes, curries, burgers, pizzas, burritos and more.

There will also be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options available.

Can you still get tickets?

There are still a range of tickets available starting from £22.
