Everything you need to know about the Jägermeister Easter egg

They joked about it last year, but Jägermeister has come good on its promise to release its very own egg in time for Easter.

The German drinks brand has created 38g chocolate eggs which are filled with a silky Jäger-infused cream at the centre.

Tim Hawley, Innovation Controller at Jägermeister UK said, “The last three years we’ve been inundated with customers demanding the #JagerEgg, we’ve had everything from desperate DMs to pleading phone calls. It’s personally kept me up at night thinking about all those people tossing and turning, dreaming of the #JagerEgg that never was - so this is for them.”

Similar to the much-loved Cadbury’s crème egg, this one is strictly for adults only as each egg contains 3 per cent alcohol.

While you can’t buy Jäger Easter Eggs individually, to mark their first ever release, Jägermeister is selling them in black and gold branded gift boxes containing two gold foiled eggs, two shot glasses and a 10cl green bottle of the iconic digestif.

There’s a limited edition run of just 250, so if you want one, you’d better get cracking.
