Everything you need to know about new Love Island bombshell Wallace Wilson

Just when we’d finally got to grips with this year’s Love Island cohort, producers have shaken things up with the introduction of two brand new bombshells.

Wallace Wilson is set to make his debut on the ITV2 dating show during tonight’s (January 27) episode alongside Demi Jones.

Describing himself as “confident, funny and energetic,” could the 24-year-old provide the villa with a much-needed injection of drama?

Here’s everything you need to know about the latest singleton searching for love in Cape Town...

So, who is Wallace Wilson?

Competitive: Wilson is a personal trainer (ITV)

The personal trainer, who hails from Inverness, reckons that he has “the perfect balance between competitiveness, humour and energy” and claims that he has got “a positive mentality” that will help him out in the villa.

Describing himself as “an eight out of 10,” he is looking for “someone ambitious, athletic and confident” - and isn’t averse to sliding into a girl’s DMs if he is interested.

It also looks like he’ll be well up for the inevitable activity-based dates that producers will have lined up for him on the show, as his ideal first date is “something fun, so something like going to the zoo would be good. I like an activity that’s outside.”

Clearly taking his fitness seriously - he’s previously taken part in bodybuilding shows - expect him to become a fixture in the villa’s outdoor gym.

Does he have Instagram?

Like any self-respecting Love Islander, Wallace is on Instagram - and you can follow him over on @wallacewilson1.

His account is a classic mix of holiday snaps, gym selfies and moody, model-esque shots.

Which Islanders does he already have his eye on?

Wallace has set his sights on Paige Turley, Siannise Fudge or Sophie Piper - which could be music to Siannise’s ears, given how upset she was after the most recent recoupling.

And will he cause drama in the villa?

If Wallace walks the walk as well as talking the talk, it looks like he could stir up some drama for the Islanders. He’s not afraid to step on the toes of the other boys, as “you’ve got to look after number one” and admits that he “could have a wandering eye but I’d be honest about it.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
