Metallica are heading to Slane this June and we have all the details for their first Irish gig in 10 years.
The American rock band are set to headline Slane Castle on June 8 for their return to the Irish shores.
The band will be joined by Swedish rock band Ghost and Irish bands Stiff Little Fingers and Fangclub along with Norwegian group Bokassa.
The band are heading on tour to promote their tenth album ‘Hardwired…To Self-Destruct’.
Tickets are priced from €89.50 including a booking fee from Ticketmaster but resale tickets are available on the site for a lower price.
Concert goers have been urged to book any travel in advance due to the amount of people attending the gig.
If you’re heading to the gig from Dublin, buses are running from 11am until 5pm and tickets are available here.
Anyone heading from outside of Dublin can buy bus tickets heading to the gig here with a range of options to choose from.
Dublin buses will depart from Western Way, Dublin 7.

Tickets will cost €40 up until June 4th including a booking fee and a time slot must be chosen.
With each ticket sold for their concert fans are able to choose between a standard physical or digital copy of the album to bring home.

Metallica’s last gig in Ireland was at Marlay Park in 2009 with their first Irish concert being in 1986.
