Road closures
The road closures in place for LIMF will include:
- Greenbank Lane will be closed at Greenbank Road, apart from access to residents and businesses only
- The section of the park between Croxteth Gate and the roundabout at Aigburth Drive will be closed to general traffic and instead used as a car park for blue badge holders
- Closures in and around Aigburth Drive/Lark Lane will be in place to assist pedestrian movement to and from the event
Road closures come into effect two hours before the event starts (10am both days) and will be in place for one hour after it finishes.
How to get there
There is no parking available in the areas surrounding the park, with the exception of limited disabled parking bays, which can be accessed via Croxteth Gates, allocated on a first come first served basis.
Guests are encouraged to use public transport.
St. Michael’s Train Station is the nearest to the park, while Merseytravel will be running its usual timetable - which can be found here.
Arriva will also be operating a shuttle bus service after the event each day from 8:45pm.
Guests can board at Croxteth Drive (near the Hallmark Hotel) and the route will end at Great Charlotte Street in the city centre.
Tickets for the shuttle bus can be purchased from www.limfest.com and across the site all weekend.
Banned items
Guests are free to bring their own picnics and unopened soft drinks - but there are several things banned from the festival site.
No alcohol is allowed on-site unless it is purchased there, while animals (other than guide dogs), barbeques, fireworks, flares and glass bottles are prohibited from the park.
Can you still get tickets?
Tickets are still available online via www.limfestival.com.
Tickets cost £11 per person, with under 12s going free - though they do still need a pre-booked ticket.
There will be a small amount of tickets available at the box office on the day.
