Outlander fans are in for a treat as season six of the hit show is just around the corner.
Following season five's extremely eventful and emotional final episode, fans were left waiting longer than planned after the pandemic disrupted filming.
In November, bosses finally revealed a release date for the latest series that will see the cast continue on their adventures.
But what can you expect from the highly anticipated new season?

When will the new season air?
The wait is nearly over as the new season of Outlander is set to air in March next year.
The first episode with debut on the March 6 at 9pm across all Starz platforms.
How many episodes will there be?
Unfortunately, there will be less episodes that usual in the next season.
Due to filming delays caused by the pandemic, season six will consist of only eight episodes instead of the usual 12 to 13 episodes.
However, there is some good news.
The first episode of season six will actually be 90 minutes long.
On top of this, season seven filming begins in the new year with plans to create a huge 16 episodes.
How can I watch?
Outlander is a Starz show, meaning the new episodes will be aired on the Starzplay streaming platform.
This is available to watch through Amazon Prime.
However, having an Amazon Prime subscription will not automatically allow you to tune in to the season six.
Instead, you will need to sign up for a Starz account which will cost you an extra £4.99 per month on top of your Prime membership.
When is season six set?
The latest season is set to take off where it left off - in 1775 on the eve of the American Revolution.
However, in a time-hopping show like Outlander, there can be a bit of chopping and changing when it comes to when the season is set.
However, unless there is more funny business with The Stones - which is more than possible- the show will continue from the last episode of season five.
Only Caitriona Balfe- or Claire - and her family knows what will happen.
Neither the colonists nor the British know that war is on the horizon, so it's up to the Fraser clan to navigate as best they can, protecting their home without altering the future too much.
