It’s happening, people! The event of the century, aka Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, is officially underway, and it’s looking more star-studded than the Met Gala and more extravagant than Donald Trump‘s White House renovations.
The power couple announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, after nearly two years of dating, and shortly after she confessed on The Graham Norton Show that she planned to go all out with the celebrations.
“I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble, and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not going to do that,” she said, joking that she’ll be inviting “anyone [she’s] ever talked to”.
Although Taylor and Travis have remained fairly tight-lipped about wedding details themselves, we’ve gathered all the clues, reports and spicy tea in one place to hopefully try and limit our FOMO.
When is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?
It’s been widely reported that Taylor and Travis’ wedding will take place on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with over 1,000 guests invited. The venue actually has a capacity of around 22,000, so technically, 1,000 is a rather intimate affair.
A much smaller gathering with around 100 close friends and family took place the night before at the same location, which was basically a rehearsal dinner.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani seemingly confirmed the couple’s high-profile wedding venue and date in a press conference about the city’s heat wave earlier this week.
“My recommendation to all New Yorkers is to stay inside and stay cool,” he said. “And if you happen to be getting married at Madison Square Garden, you will be staying inside, and you will be staying cool. And I think it’s a good example to set for the city at large.”

Why is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden?
While it was initially rumoured that the wedding would take place at a venue in Rhode Island near Taylor’s home, it’s believed the couple ultimately chose MSG for its privacy, security and massive event space.
Paparazzi won’t be able to sneak photos because there are no windows looking into the building, and the couple’s famous friends can arrive and exit discreetly thanks to the underground parking area.
Who is invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?
Speaking of the couple’s famous friends, the 1,000-person wedding is set to include countless well-known personalities across music, film, fashion and sport.
In addition to the core members of Taylor’s girl squad — Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, Haim sisters Este, Danielle and Alana, Abigail Anderson, Ashley Avignone, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, Lena Dunham, Sophie Turner and Emma Stone — it’s been reported that her former bestie Karlie Kloss has somehow scored an invite. Taylor and Karlie were close friends for years before they were rumoured to have had a falling out, and the “Style” singer notably didn’t attend the supermodel’s wedding to Josh Kushner in 2018.
Musicians Ed Sheeran, Benson Boone, Sombr and Jack Antonoff are also expected to be there, as well as Graham Norton, after Taylor invited him during an appearance on his talk show. It’s understood that Zoë Kravitz will also be in attendance, although her fiancé (and Taylor’s ex-boyfriend) Harry Styles won’t be there because he is performing at Wembley Stadium in London on Friday and Saturday night.
Travis’ side, on the other hand, will likely be flooded with his NFL teammates, coaching staff and partners — and hopefully his mum Donna brings along a couple of her co-stars from The Traitors.
Meanwhile, Page Six reported that Blake Lively hasn’t received an invite after involving Taylor in her recent legal drama, and the couple also snubbed Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh (who appeared in one of the hitmaker’s music videos) from the guest list.
As for the intimate rehearsal dinner, the guest list included Taylor’s besties Abigail, Ashley and Gigi (with her beau Bradley Cooper), exes Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff (who arrived with his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff instead of his wife Margaret Qualley), Travis’ bestie Aric Jones, and sportscasters Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson and Greg Olsen.

What rules do wedding guests have to follow?
Sources have told PEOPLE that the dress code for the wedding is black tie, and guests must adhere to a no-phones policy — so don’t expect any sneaky pics or bathroom mirror selfies.
“Guests have been told there will be a phone check upon arrival,” an insider told the publication.
Travis’ close friend and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has also let it slip that the invite specified “absolutely no gifts”, although he plans on buying the footballer an “old coin” for his collection.
What food is being served at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?
While the wedding menu hasn’t necessarily leaked online, paparazzi photos show that plenty of food has been loaded into MSG over the past couple of days. This includes french fries, onion rings, milk, eggs, butter, whipping cream, tomatoes, corn kernels, wheat wraps, juice, water and sauces, as well as turkey, lobster and a full-on Krispy Kreme truck.
Page Six also confirmed that chicken is definitely on the menu, with workers spotted carrying boxes containing blackened chicken, packaged chicken, boneless skinless chicken breasts and chicken legs. Because, you know, protein.

What will Taylor Swift wear at her wedding?
According to Page Six, Taylor will be channelling The Eras Tour at her wedding with multiple outfit changes throughout the night. Apparently, Monse’s founders and former co-creative directors of Oscar de la Renta, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, are the top contenders to design her looks as the duo have been dressing Taylor for over a decade.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner wore a USD$36,990 Oscar de la Renta design from the duo’s Pre-Spring 2026 collection to Selena Gomez’s wedding last year, and recently wore a Monse design at Travis Kelce’s Tight End University event on Tuesday.
As for the wedding decorations, TMZ reported earlier this week that a giant white staircase was being craned into MSG as part of the rumoured fairytale castle set being built inside the venue.
Who is performing at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?
Rolling Stone reported that Stevie Nicks will not only attend Taylor and Travis’ wedding, but is also expected to perform. If so, that means Taylor’s custom “Stevie Knicks” t-shirt at the NBA Finals game four last month was not only a clever pun but a massive Easter egg.
Taylor also joked on the UK’s Hits Radio Breakfast Show last year that it would be hard to keep her bestie Ed Sheeran from singing at her wedding.
“That’s the thing, he’s like, ‘I’m always being asked to sing at weddings’. It’s like, ‘Ed, if there is a stage, you know you’ll be on it’,” she remarked. “He knows what people want, and he wants to give people what they want.”
Paul McCartney’s name has also been added to the mix of potential wedding singers, as well as Tim McGraw, who inspired Taylor’s debut single when she was 16.

Where are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce going on their honeymoon?
The couple have reportedly planned a whirlwind trip post-wedding that will take them from the Bahamas to Lake Como in Italy, before heading to Paris, the French Riviera, Croatia, Greece, Singapore and then Australia.
“They have been planning this for weeks and have already informed friends and family that they will be ‘off the grid’ during this time,” a source told The Sun.
“Unless there is an emergency, they want to limit outside contact to truly immerse themselves in this once-in-a-lifetime experience before Travis returns to the football field.”
It’s unknown exactly how long the pair will be travelling for; however, they likely won’t head off on their honeymoon straight away because they’re expected to attend New York Giants footballer JuJu Smith-Schuster’s wedding to Laura Kruk on July 11.
Travis is also expected to play with the Kansas City Chiefs for their first preseason game on August 15 before the Chiefs’ 2026 regular season kicks off on September 14.
With the details locked in and the event reportedly taking place in just a matter of hours, the big question now is if/when Taylor will post about the event on social media. I’ll be waiting.
