If you are waiting to play Forza Horizon 6 on PlayStation 5 and want to know if the game is coming to the console, the answer is yes. Microsoft and Playground Games have already confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 is coming to PS5 later in 2026.

The game launches first on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 19, with Premium Edition early access starting on May 15.

Yes. Forza Horizon 6 is officially planned for PlayStation 5. Microsoft said during its January 2026 Developer_Direct coverage that the game is coming to PlayStation 5 later in 2026, and the main Forza Horizon 6 site says the same thing without any concrete date. The PlayStation Store wishlist is also live.

When is Forza Horizon 6 coming to PlayStation 5?

There is still no exact PS5 release date. The only confirmed timing right now is that it’s coming later in 2026. Xbox and PC players are getting the game first on May 19, 2026, while the PS5 version is coming afterward. Microsoft has not announced whether that means a short delay of a few months or a much later holiday release, but usually, if the game appears on the PlayStation Store, it’s a good sign that it’s coming sooner rather than later.

Why were players unsure about a PS5 version?

When Forza Horizon 6 was first announced at the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 broadcast, Microsoft confirmed the game for 2026 and revealed its Japan setting, but the information that the game is also slated for PlayStation 5 only became available later. People who aren’t watching and paying constant attention could have missed this announcement, but it’s clear as day now that the game will appear on Sony’s console.
