Everything that happened in Friday's Love Island show

Friday's Love Island programme was full of plenty of ups and downs as usual.

There was a date, arguments, relationships formed and the all-important announcement that Casa Amor is returning.

A shock recoupling that took place in Thursday's show also carried on to Friday, which sparked rows in the villa.

Here is everything that happened in Friday's show:

Hugo and Toby argue over recoupling -

Toby Aromolaran chose new girl Abigail Rawlings to recouple with despite having a two-week relationship with Chloe Burrows.

Chloe and Toby had been arguing over a couple of episodes which led to Toby's head turning and sparking an interest in Abigail.

However, Hugo Hammond didn't agree with the way that Toby had treated Chloe so chose to recouple with her himself.

But, Hugo's speech upset Toby and he told Hugo he had embarrassed him.

Toby took to the Beach Hut where he said that he would be 'civil' with Hugo but would not be friends with him outside of the villa.

Jake popped the question -

Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole have been coupled up since day-one and Jake thought it was about time that he took the next step.

He organised a romantic meal before asking her to be his girlfriend.

Hugo and Liam Reardon helped prepare the spaghetti bolognese as well as serenading the pair.

Jake also gave Liberty a bracelet which he brought into the villa with the intention to give to 'the one'.

Liberty also told him that she loved him after the gesture.

Casa Amor is returning -

At the end of the show Iain Stiring announced that Casa Amor would be returning to our screens.

No date or new islanders were revealed but fans are predicting it will be Sunday or next week.

At the start of the series fans were unsure if Casa Amor would return due to Covid reasons.

Casa Amor is set to rock the villa as it will see the boys and girls separated into different villas, testing their relationships.

The extra villa has broken up previous couples before and fans are hoping it will bring some extra drama to the show.
