In MyGM mode, you take over control of a WWE show, looking to book cards and build your reputation as the best in the game. As the release of WWE 2K26 draws near, we’re beginning to learn more about how game modes are updating this year. For fans of MyGM mode, the most recent drop from 2K is sure to be of interest.
What’s New In MyGm Mode In WWE 2K26?

There was a lot of info from 2K on new options in MyGm Mode. Here’s what we know about now:
Longer Seasons With A Mid-Year Boost
In WWE 2K26 a fifty-week season will be the new default for MyGM mode, giving players a long window to play out and develop their rosters. To account for this, the game will also give the option at midseason to offer a boost to a selection of your wrestlers to get them primed and ready to perform for your run-in.
Increased Options At Set-Up
2K has done work on both ends of the difficulty spectrum for gamers to try to meet all needs. If you want a more relaxed approach to roster building, you can choose a salary cap as high as $7,000,000 to take off some restrictions. On the flipside, for a tougher go of things, there will also now be a new Immortal difficulty, and an AI setting you can choose to test yourself harder.
Sort By Ring Level In Drafts
In a simpler fix for the game, developers have added the option to sort by Ring Level during your roster-building draft. This can make it just a bit easier to plan out your selections and find the right superstar for your needs.
A Wealth Of New Booking Options
The matches available to you are the lifeblood of a good season-long campaign, and developers have put in work on this edition to make them more dynamic. The First big change is the addition of multiple new match-types, which take advantage of expanding out to include 5, 6, and 8-way bookings:
- 5-Way
- 6-Way
- 3 vs 3
- Triple Threat Tag
- 8-Way
- 4 vs 4
- Fatal Four Way Tag
- 1 vs 2
- 1 vs 3
- 1 vs 4
The games also expanding on the option of preexisting match-types made available as part of your weekly booking plans:
- Ladder Match
- Battle Royal
- Bloodline Rules
- I Quit
- Inferno
- Dumpster
- 3 Stages of Hell
New Premium Live Events To Use
Even casuals know that the big-name events scattered across the wrestling calendar are the showpieces that everything builds to, so fans will be excited to learn about new PLE options you can use in your MyGM mode:
- Clash at Paris
- Crown JewelBattleground
- Evolution
- Great American Bash
- Halloween Havoc
- Night of Champions
- No Mercy
- Worlds Collide
- Survivor Series: War Games
- Elimination Chamber
Intergender Bookings
The ability to book intergender matches has been possible in 2K games previously, and now you can do so as part of your MyGM bookings. These come at an additional cost, so it will be on GMs to find the right time to maximize the pop they provide to make it worthwhile.
Custom Offline Championships
When playing offline MyGM, you can ramp up the customization, as the game will allow for the custom use of existing belt resources as well as the inclusion of original belts. This allows you to tailor how titles in your organization look and work.
Promos Get Spiced Up
Promos are a major part of any successful wrestling promotion, and they’re getting added nuance this time. You can now book a wrestler for both a match and a promo on the same card, with the caveat that an injury could see them waste their promo slot, or you can use invasion promos to steal heat off rivals.
Power Card Options
The use of Power Cards can have a dynamic impact on your game, but not every player wants the same things from them. With Power Card trading, you now have the option to use your cards as leverage, but for players who don’t like the option to buy cards, this can be turned off for your MyGM.
Stacy Keibler and Bobby Heenan Join The Front Office Options
One of your first decisions is choosing which GM to run your fictional promotion, and the addition of Stacy Keibler and Bobby Heenan means new options when making your big choice, along with the option to have an anonymous GM.
Seasonal Challenges To Target All Year Long
To give players an additional goal to chase, challenges offer you the chance to unlock Hall of Fame trophies by completing five of them, with up to four trophies possible in a single season.
