'Everything is possible' - Adama Diakhaby's first words after signing for Nottingham Forest

New signing Adama Diakhaby has set his sights on helping Nottingham Forest reach the Premier League.

The 23-year-old forward has for the remainder of the season.

He is Sabri Lamouchi's first signing of the January transfer window as look to push for promotion.

They are currently fifth in the table, six points off top spot with a game in hand.

"I am happy to sign for Nottingham Forest," Diakhaby told the club's official website.

"The coach (Lamouchi) called me and I am very excited to show how I can play for this club and hopefully we can go up to the Premier League.

“The coach said that he wanted me to come and play for him, for this club.

"He told me about the team spirit in the dressing room, that it was very good and all of my teammates are focused and happy. That is the reason why I came.

“The club is in a good position in the Championship. It is a long time since playing in the Premier League.

"It is a club with a good history and I think, with the staff and players here, they have done a good job but we have to keep going.

"There is five months left, we have a lot of games so everything is possible.

“I feel very good and very confident."
