Everything coming to Netflix in September 2022 - including Marilyn Monroe movie

Now that the summer months have swiftly passed by, you finally have an excuse to stay inside, cuddle up on the sofa and watch Netflix.

Subscribers will be pleased to discover that an onslaught of films and TV shows will be available to stream from September, including fan favourites Cobra Kai and Love Is Blind: After the Altar.

But returning seasons aren’t the only thing the streaming platform has to offer, as Andrew Dominik’s Marilyn Monroe film, Blonde, will finally be released.

The movie, which stars Ana de Armas as the iconic actress, is set to be a raw insight into the life and career of the late star.

And speaking of Hollywood icons, fans of the King of Pop are in for a treat as Michael Jackson’s This Is It documentary will be sure to give you a ‘thriller’ feeling.

If comedy gold is more your thing, then prepare to see plenty of it with The Associate (1996) starring the iconic Whoopi Goldberg, crime comedy The Sting (1973), and season 11 of American comedy-drama Shameless.

In true Netflix fashion, subscribers can also look forward to romantic comedies, such as Love in the Villa, which follows a young woman while she takes a trip to idyllic Verona before meeting a cynical British man.

If that’s a little unpalatable for your taste, then dark-comedy Do Revenge may seize your attention, as the Netflix Original follows Drea and Eleanor as they conspire against their bullies.

Scary movie lovers can also get their popcorn ready as Spanish horror movie Vampyres is set to release in September too.

As children return back to school, the new releases will give them something to look forward to after class, including Barbie & Her Sisters In A Pony Tale and animated movie Morphle: My Magic Pet: The Halloween Candy Magic Pet.

Elsewhere there’s the thought-provoking Indian Predator: The Diary of a Serial Killer, a true-crime docuseries about a suspect found in a journalist’s murder.

Or there’s The Anthrax Attacks In The Shadow of 9/11, a shocking documentary about fatal anthrax spores that sparked panic following the tragic 9/11 attacks.
