Season Meltdown is one of the biggest Delta Force seasons to date, with new maps for each of the core modes on top of a new Operator and weapons. This update also kicks off a crossover between Delta Force and Rainbow Six Siege, bringing the two tactical shooters together.
Here’s everything coming to Delta Force in Season Meltdown on June 30.
All new content in Delta Force Season Meltdown
New Operations map, Nuclear Power Plant AZ3
At last, the Operations mode is receiving a new map, Nuclear Power Plant AZ3, available on Easy and Normal difficulties. Throughout the run, radiation levels on the power plant increase as everyone explores different rooms, pushing the map to one of multiple endings and creating a new narrative experience for an extraction shooter.
H1000 is a new boss at Nuclear Power Plant AZ3. As a security chief, H1000 hunts down players who become a high threat. The boss is a threat up close, and with his ability to flank players, you must always stay on guard.
New Warfare map, Coliseum
Coliseum is the new map where the spotlight takes the Colosseum. Following the trend set by previous maps like Akh Canal and Aftershock, Coliseum has its own dynamic event that affects gameplay. Once the HAAVK rocket crashes, it covers an area of the map in fire and destroys structures.
New Warfare modes and vehicles
Season Meltdown introduces three new modes to Warfare. Windchaser is a football mode following the introduction of a football in Echo. Crazy Box is basically an arms race where you start with a melee and collect crates for a chance to upgrade. While those two are more funky modes, Ace Hunt adds a dogfighting experience with 8v8 air combat with no infantry or ground vehicles.
Rainbow Six Siege collaboration
Delta Force x Rainbow Six Siege brings three iconic Team Rainbow Operators to the game as skins. Nox gets Vigil’s skin, Sineva gets Montagne’s skin, and Stinger gets Doc’s skin. All three Operator pairs have matching identities within their universes, like Stinger and Doc’s commitment to saving comrades in the field (and using a med pistol)
Throughout the collaboration event, you can claim two of the three Operator skins for free. On top of that, you can claim one of the two Black Ice skin bundles, featuring an iconic skin for Delta Force weapons and the MP5 Black Ice skin. More collectibles and easter eggs will be available for you to find once the collaboration begins on July 10.
New Operator, N-Two
Gabriel Mercier (aka N-Two) is an Engineer specializing in controlling territory with cryogenic tech. His kit disrupts the enemy’s movement until they’re frozen and can turn any area into the North Pole.
Here are N-Two’s abilities in Delta Force:
- Cryo-Flask: Deploy a cryo flask that releases freezing gas on impact, creating a localized low-temperature zone. Enemies inside continuously accumulate cryogenic effects and suffer violent coughing. It can also freeze and seal closed doors.
- Homing Stun Grenade: Throw a tracking-enabled stun grenade that automatically pursues targets, disrupting enemy vision and movement. Enemies affected by cryogenic attacks will be marked on impact.
- Frost Launcher: Equip a launcher for a short duration, and fire up to six cryo grenades. Each grenade detonates on impact, dealing damage and applying low-temperature effects. Continuous fire increases the rate of fire.
- Frostbite (Operations): Liquid nitrogen exposure gradually slows enemies until they are frozen. Reduces enemies’ resistance to fractures in Operations.
- Permafrost (Warfare): Liquid nitrogen exposure gradually slows enemies until they are frozen. Reduces vehicle maneuverability in Warfare.
New weapons, RM277 and SVCH
The two new weapons in Season Meltdown are the RM277 and SCVH. RM277 is a bullpup assault rifle with strong armor penetration and controllable recoil, but a slower fire rate. SCVH is a single-fire marksman rifle, which takes care of enemies at longer ranges.
