Everyone says same thing about Roy Keane after Man United's latest embarrassing result

Manchester United sunk to a 3-0 defeat to Sevilla on Thursday night to crash out of the Europa League 5-2 on aggregate.

The Spaniards had fought back from 2-0 down with two late goals at Old Trafford, and were gifted an early opener when Youssef En-Nesyri capitalised on a mistake from United defender Harry Maguire.

Lucas Ocampos saw another goal ruled out just before half-time following a VAR review for offside in the build-up.

Sevilla, though, did double their lead just two minutes into the second half through a looping header from Loic Bade.

United’s miserable evening was complete with nine minutes left when goalkeeper David De Gea failed to control a long ball forwards, which broke for En-Nesyri to knock into the empty net.

Erik ten Hag said Manchester United let the fans down with their “unacceptable” lack of fight and desire in their humiliating Europa League exit.

He stated: "We have to face that we let ourselves down, we let the fans down and if you want to win trophies, if you want to be successful, you need other character."

And as BT Sport's coverage went to their pundits for reaction after the match, fans were hoping one man was there.

"Wish Roy Keane worked for BT Sport the meltdown would be unreal," wrote one fan.

Someone else said: "Wish Roy Keane worked for BT so we could see his reaction to De Gea’s performance tonight."

Another comment read: "DDG is lucky Roy Keane is on Sky and not BT because he wouldn’t let him on the bus after this game."

One other person wrote: "It's games like this makes me wish BT sport had Roy Keane as well."
