Everyone saying same thing following second Dancing With the Stars elimination

Dancing With the Stars Ireland viewers are all saying the same things follow this season's second elimination.

Dr Marie Cassidy became the second celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars season six.

The former state pathologist performed a fun Foxtrot to Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians as the opening act, with Stephen Vincent, scoring 15 points from the judges.

One invested viewer took to Twitter to say: "Sorry to see Dr Marie go - think the judges were overly harsh on her!"

Another offered the opinion: "Kind of annoying that the older women pretty well ALWAYS go out so early in #DWTSIRL but it's not the same for older men....."

Following Dr Cassidy's performance, judge Loraine Barry said: "Elegant, radiant, beautiful! The Foxtrot came up a little short, but it was beautiful" while judge Brian Redmond said she captured "the elegance of a Foxtrot."

One male Twitter user commended the former State Pathologist: "Fair play Marie for agreeing to come on the show....Best of luck in the future....onwards."

Following news of her subsequent elimination, after Leah O' Rourkes' goodbye last week, Dr Cassidy admitted that she will miss both the practice and taking to the dancefloor on the big nights.

“It becomes your life and there is more to life," Dr Cassidy said before jokingly saying she was robbed.

Reacting to her closing statements, one online viewer said: "Aw sorry to see Dr. Marie go. Such a lovely personality and attitude! Want to read her book."

Another joked that "the post mortem will start now" for the 64-year-old Trinity College Dublin professor.

On a positive note, most viewers agreed with one person's Tweet: "What a great attitude Dr Marie Cassidy has!"

The eliminated couple, Marie and Stephen, will be interviewed on The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 tomorrow morning.
