'Everyone's favourite': RR coach Rahul Dravid on wheelchair meets KKR players - Watch

NEW DELHI: On the eve of Rajasthan Royals' Indian Premier League 2025 clash against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, RR head coach Rahul Dravid, currently on a wheelchair due to injury, had a heartwarming interaction with KKR players, including Rinku Singh on Tuesday.

Dravid, a revered figure in Indian cricket, suffered an injury during a Karnataka State Cricket Association League match while playing for Vijaya Cricket Club. Despite the setback, the legendary cricketer remains actively involved in RR’s campaign, displaying his characteristic resilience and dedication.

Rajasthan Royals shared a touching moment on social media, captioning it: "Everyone's favourite."

Dravid, seen in an electric wheelchair with a cast on his left leg, was all smiles as he met KKR players, reflecting the deep respect he commands across teams.

Meanwhile, both KKR and RR will look for a turnaround in their IPL 2025 campaigns, having suffered losses in their previous matches. KKR were outplayed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, while RR faced a heavy defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
