FaceApp and the #AgeChallenge is all the rage on social media, with celebrities, athletes and just about everyone else making themselves look elderly thanks to the filters on it (although there are privacy concerns).
The reason I’m bringing this up is golfer Shane Lowry was, as of Thursday morning, among the leaders at the British Open, and shots of him and his caddie have gone viral. That’s because Brian Martin looks like the FaceApp’d version of Lowry with both of them sporting full beards.
That was the observation a lot of folks on Twitter made as they watched they opening round at Royal Portrush:
